OCTOBER 2007. TWISTED ROOTS. Los Diablos is coming out of hiding for a very special show on Nov. 3rd. It's the 4th edition of Twisted Roots! This time we'll be holding court at The Lizard Lounge and will be joined by local luminary Miss Tess (and her Bon Ton Parade) as well as the wonderful Mad Tea Party from our adopted home of Asheville, NC. To top off this amazing lineup, we've gone good friend and Twisted Roots veteran Frank Morey hosting the evening with his trademark growl. Please come on out for what promises to be one of the best Roots music nights of the Fall. See you there!

SEPTEMBER 2007. LOOKING FORWARD. Wow, what an exhausting summer. Ireland was amazing. You can see some of the tour photos on the band's Myspace site. We also played a slew of Boston-area shows and made a couple short road trips in the U.S. For the next several weeks the band is laying low to continue recording a new studio album. Expect plenty of guest stars and a few new sounds as they incorporate many of the amazing players who have sat in over the last few months.

MAY 2007. DIABLOS INTERNATIONAL. We're busy putting the final touches on our first ever tour in Ireland form May 18-26. We're splitting the tour (and some band members) with Paddy Saul a fine Boston singer-songwriter and native of Ireland. some shows we'll be headlining, some shows Paddy will be headlining, but all shows will be fun, fun, fun. So if you live in Ireland, or always wanted to visit, nows your chance to do so while also catching your favorite pub band. Also, if you know anyone in Ireland who mike like Los Diablos, PLEASE tell them about the tour. We really could use all the help we can get. Cheers!!

MARCH 2007. Go n-ithe an cat thu is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat!
Spring brings several big shows for our Diablolical lads. First, they'll be holding down St. Patrick's Day weekend at The Plough & Stars on March 16 & 17. Come early on the 16th for a Cooley's Whiskey tasting and commemoration. Keep an eye on the Los Diablos tour dates as well: the 3rd installment of Twisted Roots is coming to The Abbey Lounge on April 7. This show will be Celtic-flavored as well. And to top it all off, we're putting the final touches on Los Diablos' inagural tour in Ireland in May. The band will be over there for 10 days. Local Ireland ex-pat Paddy Saul will be joining them. God bless ye Paddy, for ye know not what ye do! Last but not least is a little musical treat. The band recently finished a Cajun version of Frank Morey's "Murder Bound." You can hear it at the band's MySpace page.
